Today was just a lazy Saturday. We went for a long drive and stopped to eat at a Seafood buffet. An EXPENSIVE seafood buffet. 30 bucks a person not including drinks. Luckily the girls ater for free. Still, sheesh. We are cheap people. Seriously, the most we have ever spent eating out is 50 dollars. That was at Outback Steakhouse. We only eat at places like this once a year or so. Otherwise we just hit KFC or Wendy's.
So at the buffet we ate shrimp, salmon, crab legs, etc. We could have had lobster too if we were willing to add another 20 bucks for each of us. That wasn't going to happen. My husband and the girls had Sprites to drink and since I wasn't driving I had myself a Pina Colada. It was 7 bucks. YIKES!!! Now I remember why I usually just get a diet coke!! I wonder how much a rum and diet coke would've cost. Probably 7 bucks!! Oh well, it was worth it. So yummy!!!
On the way home we stopped at the grocery store for what else? Groceries. Man food is expensive! But what ya gonna do, you gotta eat!!
Tomorrow we aren't going anywhere. It's supposed to rain pretty hard. I might have my hubby drop me at the mall so I can have some alone time. I usually just hang out at the bookstore browsing and wishing I had enough money to buy every single book I see. I love books. I love reading. I want to live at the bookstore.
